Product Description

The primary function of a two - stage collar is to facilitate the process of two - stage cementing. In deep - well drilling, it is often challenging to complete the cementing process in a single stage due to issues such as high hydrostatic pressure and the risk of lost circulation. The two - stage collar allows the cementing operation to be divided into two steps. This helps to prevent the cement slurry from fracturing the formation and causing leakage, reduces formation contamination, saves cement usage, and lowers the hydrostatic pressure in the annulus, thereby reducing the cost of cementing.

1. The tool reduces pumping pressure on weak zones and prevents lost circulation during cementing.
2. The tool can be opened hydraulically without a free-fall opening plug, which enables operations in highly-deviated(greater than 30° off vertical from surface to tool) and horizontal wells.
3. Shear pins can be adjusted onsite, which enables the operator to adjust opening pressures to specific well requirements.
4. Anti-rotation design and no need to use opening plug save lots of drill-out time.
